Sonatus Noctursa, the Northern Masked Owlbear, is a fearsome breed native to the misty mountains of Draksborne and the shadowed valleys of Karkanoth. Known as “Moon Owlbears” by local Elves for their pale, crescent-like faces, these creatures are anything but serene. Among the deadliest predators in Tharador, they are known to tear through entire squads of unprepared soldiers, their haunting visage the last thing many ever see.
