A servant of the Lykteholder, the Beinvættr moves through Nordheim’s forests as a collector of the dead. The villagers know its legend well and leave offerings of flesh and bone to appease it, whether from livestock or loved ones. Each sacrifice is accepted and added to its form, a body built from the remains of countless victims. Those who fail to give their due soon find the Beinvættr at their door, claiming its toll by force.
